Some bands fade quietly into the background.
Alabama Shakes? They just wait patiently until the moment feels right — then kick the door back open with soul, grit, and one of the most unmistakable voices of the last decade.
Brittany Howard and company have officially announced a stacked Spring 2026 North American tour, and yes, Florida is very much invited to the party. From St. Augustine (see you in April 👀) to Tallahassee, Boca Raton, Clearwater, and beyond, the Shakes are making sure the Southeast gets a proper dose of what it’s been missing.
Let’s be honest: Brittany Howard’s voice doesn’t just sing — it commands weather patterns. Ever since Sound & Color landed in 2015 and casually produced genre-defying moments like “Don’t Wanna Fight” and “Gimme All Your Love,” Alabama Shakes have lived in that rare space where rock, soul, blues, and raw emotion all coexist without asking permission.
That album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, won multiple Grammys, and cemented the band as something far bigger than a festival buzz act. It was real music for real people — the kind you play loud enough that your neighbors learn something about themselves.
While there’s still no official word on a follow-up album (Island Records signing noted, optimism cautiously activated), the band has released their first new single since Sound & Color, which feels like a polite wink that more is coming when it’s ready. No rush. Legends don’t sprint.
The 2026 tour isn’t just about shows — it’s about community. For every ticket sold, $1 goes toward nonprofits across the U.S. through the Alabama Shakes Fund, proving once again that you can make great music and do good without turning it into a marketing stunt.
Support across the tour includes Joy Oladokun, Mon Rovîa, Lamont Landers, and JJ Grey & Mofro, depending on the date — a lineup that fits perfectly with the Shakes’ soul-forward, no-BS ethos.
And yes, the tour wraps with a two-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, because if you’re going to close things out, you might as well do it somewhere sacred.
Personally? We’re already circling April in St. Augustine on the calendar. Brittany Howard live is not something you casually “check out.” It’s something you experience — preferably under the stars, with a crowd that knows exactly how lucky they are.
