Zeds Dead Launch ‘Journey of a Lifetime’ Tour — And Yes, That Name Still Makes Us Laugh

Zeds Dead Launch ‘Journey of a Lifetime’ Tour

Some band names sound cool.

Some sound mysterious.

And then there’s Zeds Dead, which — if you know the reference — is arguably the greatest band name ever created. If you don’t get it, go watch Pulp Fiction. Trust me. The moment you hear it, you’ll laugh the same way I do every single time someone says their name.

But jokes aside, Zeds Dead aren’t just clever with movie quotes — they’re one of the most respected electronic duos in the game.

And now they’re going big.

The Biggest Zeds Dead Tour Yet

The Canadian duo — Zachary Rapp-Rovan and Dylan Mamid — just announced their 2026 “Journey of a Lifetime” summer amphitheater tour, a massive 15-show run across 12 North American cities.

The tour kicks off in the most legendary venue imaginable:

Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

Two nights.

Sold out already.

Honestly, if the universe decides to show me a little mercy someday, I’ll be standing in that crowd. Red Rocks has been on my bucket list forever, and seeing a show there feels less like attending a concert and more like entering a sacred musical ritual.

After Red Rocks, the tour will roll through major outdoor venues including:

Forest Hills Stadium – New York

Germania Insurance Amphitheater – Austin

Grand Park – Los Angeles (final stop)

And if you’re wondering whether they’re going all out on production — the answer is absolutely yes.

The duo says the show will feature new music, upgraded visuals, and stage design built to deliver their most ambitious live experience yet.

A Career Built on Bass and Innovation

Zeds Dead have been shaping bass music for well over a decade. Their discography blends dubstep, house, drum & bass, hip-hop influences and atmospheric electronic sounds into something uniquely theirs.

Their tracks “Collapse,” “Eyes on Fire (Remix),” and “Adrenaline” have racked up massive streaming numbers and festival plays worldwide.

They’ve also built an empire through their label Deadbeats, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2026 and has helped launch some of the biggest names in bass music.

Their latest album, Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness, pushed their sound even further into cinematic electronic territory.

Awards-wise, Zeds Dead have been consistently recognized across electronic music charts and festivals, earning Juno Award nominations and global festival headliner status while maintaining one of the most loyal fanbases in EDM.

Why This Tour Matters

There’s another reason this tour feels bigger than usual.

Zeds Dead announced they plan to take time off in 2027.

Which means this run is designed to be a full-scale celebration of their journey so far.

Their statement about the tour name actually reaches back to one of the first songs they uploaded online in 2009 — “Journey of a Lifetime.”

Seventeen years later, the name feels oddly prophetic.

They built a community.

They built a sound.

Now they’re throwing one massive party before stepping away for a bit.

The Supporting Cast

Joining the tour across different stops will be a rotating lineup of heavy hitters including:

• Alleycvt

• Daily Bread

• Deathpact

• Dr. Fresch

• Imanu

• Ivy Lab

• Mary Droppinz

• Moody Good

• Whethan

Translation: expect long nights, loud bass, and crowds that forget what sleep is.

Tickets Go On Sale Soon

Tickets for the “Journey of a Lifetime” tour go on sale March 11, and if the Red Rocks shows are any indicator, they won’t last long.

If you’ve ever wanted to see Zeds Dead with their biggest production ever, this might be the moment.
